- I would just like to say that i think the Lonesome River Band would be a wonderful attraction on the schedule of events on beautiful Poppy Mountain, and wondering if that might be a possibility in the near future.
- I totally agree, one of the best and most influential bands around (if they would stick to just straight bluegrass). That would be a great band to look into. I don't know their availability but in the future you may also look into getting Dry Branch Fire Squad to perform, great live bluegrass gospel band that doesn't get nearly enough exposure!
- I am totally shocked to see that The Lonesome River Band is not in this years line up...I know it is not the old band but Sammy is still in the band and they still have the name and sound and they are just better than ever.....Sure gonna miss them.....
