- I hope every body is getting ready to go to Florida. Dian, Amy , her friend Leann and I spent the week after Christmas in Okeechobee with Marty, Lois, and Don. We had the time of our life. It is well worth the trip just to see the Blue Heron golf course and The rodeo grounds where the festival will be it is great. I really got excited when I saw the big arena with all the bleachers and all the space for parking. You are real close to lake Okeechobee And some 30 miles from the beach. We want to thank Don, Marty, Lois And all the other people there for making our trip a great time. Hope to see all our bluegrass frends at the festival in Feburary.
